I have a couple of programs which seem to need to do web related stuff during their install.
This time I let wine download and install the missing item. I still get the same message when running wine configuration. I temporarily enabled this repo and installed the wine-gecko package from there. It appears that the wine-gecko package is available in rpmforge-testing. I agree with that approach so I did some searching. Wine offered to download it and install it but recommended using the repositories. When I ran Configure Wine it told me the wine-gecko (the web browser related stuff) was not installed.
Therefore I installed it from EPEL I observed no apparent issues with the installation. It appears that wine is not in the Base nor rpmforge repositories.
